This is the story of Gloria's journey becoming a student at Gashora Girls Academy and pursuing her dreams despite the challenges of COVID-19.

There is a huge gap in women's education opportunities around the world, but the Rwanda Girls Initiative is changing that one girl at a time. Because of this donation-based program, Sandrine and many other girls in Rwanda are attending the Gashora Girls Academy of Science and Technology, not only helping women break out of poverty and reliance, but fueling new passion and innovation that impacts entire communities and beyond. This video was part of a live event with Jamie Lee Curtis, Maria Shriver, Melinda Gates, and founder Suzanne Sinegal McGill which helped raise over one million dollars to continue education.
