Gates Heroes in the Field: Eva Nangalo

In this short documentary about a local hero, Evan Nangalo, we see how she saves lives every day as a midwife, farmer and mother in Nakaseke, Uganda. Despite having extremely limited resources, tools, staff, and medication to help her patients, she still fights for them tirelessly, providing medical services and even advocating for their care through protest. This is an important story bringing awareness to the struggles and major risks Uganda faces with female and reproductive health.
